TasKing

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 9, 2026
The short version: TasKing is in beta. Use it to plan your days, be kind, and don't misuse it. It's free while in beta; if paid plans arrive, you'll always see the price before you're charged. Your tasks are yours.

Using TasKing

TasKing (task.ing and the TasKing apps) is a to-do list and planner made by Matt Swider. By creating an account or using TasKing, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You need to be at least 13 years old.

Your account

Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it anytime in Settings › Account.

Your content

The tasks, notes and lists you add are yours. You give us permission to store, sync and display them only so we can run TasKing for you (and, on a team, show teammates what you choose to share).

Connected services

If you connect Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, TasKing acts on your calendars only as you direct it and as our Privacy Policy describes. Those services' own terms also apply.

Fair use

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Beta, plans and payments

TasKing is in beta and may change, have bugs, or be unavailable at times. It's free during the beta. If we introduce paid plans, we'll show the price and terms before you buy; purchases in the app are handled by Apple under its terms, and you can cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.

No warranty

TasKing is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data; please keep anything critical somewhere else too.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date above will change and we'll tell you in the app about important changes. You can stop using TasKing at any time. We may end the service with reasonable notice so you can take your data with you.
